Belfast based company MCL Fire are delighted to announce they will be working with Translink the largest public transport operator in Northern Ireland by providing firefighting equipment and support for their workshops across NI.
McL Fire is a fully accredited business with over 40 years’ experience in the fire protection industry who understand that Fire Protection is about Fire not just Compliance, and much like Translink , MCL prides itself on its values when it comes to safety and innovation which is what makes this partnership even more exciting says MCL Director Dermot Mclarnon.
With 1.5m passengers using Translink services every week and a fleet of over 1400 buses, coaches and trains it is important that the maintenance of these key services and those who work on them are protected against the risk of fire. By MCL providing this key firefighting equipment Translink are ensuring that staff are safe and the equipment is certified, maintained and in full working order.

Because of this partnership with Translink, MCL have also been able to create two new Fire Extinguisher technician roles to work on this project and expand on their diverse workforce. This is a major win for MCL Fire in their effort to become the leading supplier of fire safety equipment in Ireland and look forward to working with Translink.
